Cadence is an industry leading electronic design automation (EDA) software and engineering service provider. In the past decades, Cadence's custom/analog tools has been helping engineers design the transistors, standard cells, and IP blocks that make up systems-on-chips (SoCs). Oakland University is proud to partner with Cadence in offering student access to Cadence's world-class chip- and board-level design and verification tools, through its University Software program. The Cadence design tool kits available at Oakland University include Custom Integrated Circuits Bundle, Digital Integrated Circuits Bundle, Verification Bundle and Packaging and Board Bundle. Currently Cadence design tools are used in the following course at Oakland University: ECE 5134 To gain access to Cadence tools, faculty and students are required to contact the following personnel: Hongwei Qu, Ph.D. (faculty liaison person) Christopher Gregory Terrence P.
