The GPU Computing Research Laboratory focuses on software design and development for high performance computing, primarily focusing on the use of General-Purpose GPU Computing or GPGPU Computing to achieve high performance computation.

Dr. Alawneh recently received the 2021 School of Engineering and Computer Science Outstanding Teaching Award
